Do You Qualify?
Who is eligible for Virginia CCSP?

💼 You Are Working
You are employed, in job training, or actively searching for work and need child care in order to maintain employment.
🎓 You Are in School
You are enrolled in an educational program or job training course and need child care while you attend.
💰 Income Eligibility
Your household income falls at or below 85% of the State Median Income. Income limits vary by family size — your local DSS will determine eligibility.

Your child is under 13 years old (or under 18 if the child has a disability). KALE serves children from 6 weeks through 12 years.
🏠 Virginia Residency
You and your child reside in Virginia. KALE is located in Chesterfield County — apply through Chesterfield County DSS.

Families experiencing homelessness, in foster care situations, or where a child is at risk may also qualify. Contact DSS to discuss your situation.
